However, it didn't take long (what felt like two minutes, to be exact) to get another Welcome to Utah sign... I got a good shot of this one, and truly felt welcomed home.

I almost forgot...
While driving home from Colorado after our Boston trip, I tried to capture the Welcome to Utah sign that meant we were nearly home... I missed....and horribly so.

Welcome to Boston:
Home of Fenway Park

And the Red Socks (they won, with 3 home runs over the Green Monster)
Also home to the New England Aquarium featuring Myrtle the Turtle...
And Mr. Penguin...
There's whale watching tours to go on...
The Boston Museum of Science has something for everyone.
And while you're here, don't forget the Freedom Trail.
Be sure to stop at Mike's Pastry while you're in the North End. Their pastries are delicious.
The Swan Boats are a nice way to relax after wandering around all day.
As long as you're in Cambridge, stop at Harvard.
Eat some Boston Clam Chowder,
and get your Dunkin' Donuts fix.
After all that, feel free to go home.

Scrambled Eggs: Ready in Minutes
Does anyone else find this amusing? I always thought real, homemade scrambled eggs were the easiest thing to make, and were naturally "ready in minutes." Do we really need them from a freezer to make them faster?

Thunder Over Utah
Back in March, G and I went down to St George for the Thunder Over Utah Air Show. After discovering that all the hotels in the area were booked, we decided to try a Bed and Breakfast. It was a cute little place in the old part of the city. G got to use the phone booth to call the front desk to let us in.
After checking in, we took a walk around to get dinner and cupcakes, then off to find the statue of G's great great great etc grandpa, and I got to kiss a frog.
The next morning we got a hearty breakfast, which started off with baked apples in these fun bowls (we're obviously into our food).

And then off to the air show we went!
It started out with this car seat in the middle of nowhere. Whoever had that seat likely had a good view.
The USMC MV-22 Osprey. We were both in awe of it's coolness.
The USAF F-22 Raptor. Also very cool.
Wing Walking show - it made me nervous.
And the Blue Angels. For the last part of the show we moved to the parking area so we could exit quicker. We ended up having a much better view, and it only took us 2 hours to get out of the parking area. Just as the show was ending, the wind picked up, and dirt was EVERYWHERE. I was glad we were so close to our car.
After this picture, our camera decided to stop working.

No worries
I know that you are all just dying waiting for me to post something. And don't worry - I haven't forgotten. I just haven't had time to go through the hundreds of pictures sitting on the camera waiting to be seen. But hopefully I will get there - and soon. So in the meantime, here's what's going on. I work, work, work, and G studies, studies, studies. It's a pretty exciting life - let me tell you. But we're happy and enjoying life, even if I'm counting down the months for when G decides he's done with all of his studying. It's almost like my mission...except I don't have to walk around all day, every day, in the scorching sun with sweat dripping down me, I have a dishwasher and a washing machine, and I can use a blow dryer - and my hair stays dry. And oh yeah, I really like my companion.

One year of goodness
One year ago I went on a first date that changed my life forever. I'm pretty sure it was the fact that we had "Chinese" for dinner (read: Panda Express), but the guy was pretty wonderful too. Thanks, G for a wonderful year of fun!
I've been meaning to post about our latest exploits, and still hope to. For Christmas, G's sister gave us a photo album and told us we should take pictures of every day events. And because most of our everyday events are either cooking, doing homework, or cleaning, the cooking ones are definitely the most exciting. So hopefully soon we'll get some of our kitchen adventures on here, along with other fun things, of course.
